Angels and Trees at Maple Hill

With fall upon us and winter soon to follow, the green leaves will soon be a memory. I know that is an answer to prayer for many plein air painters (the green part leaving that is), but lets use this last opportunity to capture their beauty. Especially in the soft morning light.

Join us at Maple Hill Saturday, September 24 at 8:00 or so near the main entrance. There is an angel and a celtic cross located there amongst the beautiful variety of trees. (I may be in Memphis, but if not I will be there.)

Saturday, September 17 at the Big Spring

Join us for a morning of painting this Saturday beginning at 8:00 or earlier.

Painting in the Park is a perfect way to start your day as the sun rises over Monte Sano and its colors are captured in the Spring. Stay as long or as short as you want. Finish your sketch and head on up to Monte Sano for the Art show and later to the Dowtown Square for a new Street Festival.
